Reflecting Three and a Half Decades in the Cath Lab !!!
Reflecting on my remarkable 35-year journey in the cath lab brings forth cherished memories that shaped my career. I vividly recall my initial days in 1989 at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University, where I embarked with nervous excitement on my first procedure under the guidance of esteemed mentors, Dr. John Hodgson and Dr. Ravi Nair. From that very moment, I adopted a ritual of always reciting the Gayatri Mantra prayer before administering local anesthetic—a tradition that has remained steadfast throughout my entire career. This prayer, seeking divine wisdom and righteousness, has undoubtedly been a guiding force in my work, spanning thousands of procedures over the decades.
As I look forward, I am eager to continue my service to patients with the same passion and dedication that have defined these 35 enriching years in the cath lab. Here's to many more years of healing and compassion ahead.
