With a sold out crowd of 850 guests with the Dynamic Anil Kapoor Of Slum Dog Millionaire fame energized the entire audience with his humor and spontaneity and filled the Hilton Americas ballroom with laughter and great energy. History was created when two great philanthropist couples Vijay and Marie Goradia and Swatantra and Bimla Jain inspired the entire audience by donating a Million dollars each helping us raise a record 4.5 million dollars as the entire Houston opened their wallets for this wonderful organization. The touching story of Mumta from Indore highlighted how Pratham is truly empowering the underprivileged children of India. Rhythm India team under the direction of Arzan Gonda and Anita Dongre’s Fashion Show provided perfect entertainment to end the evening.

Asha Dhume and the entire team including the dedicated volunteers led by Darel D’Souza did an amazing job by making history in Houston !
